A measure of the Heath of Social 'DNA'

 

The 'Integral Pulse' is the next stage development of work started in the 1950s by Professor Clare W Graves. Each one of the change and cultural values systems is classed as a 'meme'. A meme is a unit of culture that can reproduce itself. Clusters of memes form value systems. When a critical mass of meme clusters is reached then new value system are created.

 

The practical use of the original work has been developed by 5 Deep as a Competing Values, Culture and Change Framework. This framework has the capacity to help understand the 'Hidden' within people and organisations, the ‘Espoused’ what they say out loud and how these are ‘Perceived’.

 

The process is centred on the person and the assumption is made that all are doing their best within their own 'life conditions' and have a right to do so.
